Jordana Ferguson

BSc (Kin), MScPT

I’ve been practicing physiotherapy since 2012, holding a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta. I have worked locally since graduation and love working and living in our rural area.

I have experience in many areas including musculoskeletal, neurological, geriatrics, vestibular and acute rehabilitation. I love that our profession is so diverse and can offer many avenues and tools to improve the lives of our patients. It’s a constantly changing field and I enjoy learning new ways to improve my evidence-based practice.

I am passionate about providing patient-centered care and address the many factors that can play a role in recovery and overall wellness. I am also passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and having an affect "upstream" by prevention and maintenance in my patients’ health.

I am trained in anatomical acupuncture, functional dry needling and vestibular and concussion management. With my kinesiology background and my passion for sports and fitness, one of my greatest strengths is motivating patients to get active in their recovery. Elantive is derived from two words with "elan" meaning doing something with great energy and "active" our primary treatment approach. This suits me as a clinician and visions for my clinic spot on!

I’m a farm wife and proud mom of three. When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll find me chasing after my kiddos, teaching fitness classes at Wild Prairie Yoga, coaching, curling, golfing, running or hiking. To escape the hustle and bustle, you can find me out for a run with my labradoodle Griff, hitting my yoga mat or sitting down to catch a Jays game!

Ashley King

BSc (Kin), MScPT

I have been working as a physiotherapist since 2011 when I graduated with my Masters from the University of Saskatchewan. I received by BKin from the University of Calgary in 2008 and worked as a personal trainer for a period of time after. My experience in this field continues to affect how I treat today. Working with people to find the right exercises for them is one of my favourite parts of the day.

After working as a Physical Therapist in Calgary for two years we moved back to Trochu, where we started a family. I have been working in the area since 2014 and am excited to have the opportunity to serve this great community, close to home.

I have experience treating all types of musculoskeletal conditions and have been using dry needling as a tool since 2019. I have taken extra training in manual techniques and pain science, and am also trained to offer pelvic floor therapy. I love to meet my patients where they are and work together to build back strength and function and improve pain along the way. I look forward to traveling with you on your rehab journey

See how we can help you on your journey to a better quality of life.
